Christmas Letter - Continued
During mid August we celebrated
Imelda's birthday by going over to England, where we visited the Blue Water Shopping
Mall,
the British Wildlife Centre and spent an evening with Low and Mary. In early September
we returned to England and celebrated Katherine and Chris's wedding,
with the rest of the family. In November, Robin, Angela and
Rachel came for a long weekend - as usual it rained most of the time.
Other news includes: Sorcha is growing up
fast and has had a steady boyfriend Lyle for over six months.
She is doing well at school and will be taking the Junior Certificate
next June (equivalent to GCSE's). I have started my third
Master Degree this September. It is a MSc in Applied eLearning and
I have to travel up to Dublin (90 miles each way), every Tuesday
afternoon.
New
projects that were completed / mostly completed this year include a shelter for my Eventide boat, a
new goat enclosure and hut, a new duck and goose enclosure and hut, a
new shed in the woods. The conversion of the stables was postponed to
next year due to the incessant rain, in the Summer.
We
wish all our family, friends and site visitors, a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year.
