Stations and Blessing of the House
On Friday, the 12th October, we held the "Stations" at our house. Father Leogue officiated the service, and around
twenty people (local neighbours and family) attended. The
stations was held in the kitchen and I was suprised that we could seat
all the people comfortably. Afterwards Father Leogue also blessed
the house. The head table was set up in the dining room and the
remainder of the people ate in the lounge.

Father Leogue showed particular interest in the renovation of the house
and unfortunately I got carried away and subjected him to hundreds of
photographs, with appropriate commentry. After some of the guests
had left I suddenly realised that I hadn't taken any photographs, so I
managed to take a few. My digital camera no longer works well,
since it was lent to Sorcha on a school trip, so some of the
photographs are a bit blurry. The final guests left just before
midnight and remarks from people who attended have indicated that they
enjoyed the night.
