Biography
of Sorcha Floyd
Sorcha was born 12.20 am, Sunday 6th February, 1994, at Chatham Hospital. Kent. A few weeks later we all flew to Ireland to show her to the Irish relatives. In August, we spent a week in Tenerife and during this time she seem to change rapidly from a baby who slept, ate and complained, to a little person who was highly inquisitive about people, surroundings and objects.
As Imelda and I worked, she spent most of the next four years at the Bluebells Nursery, in Rochester, Kent. At eighteen months she accompanied Imelda and I on our boat, from Sete, in the Mediterranean, to Podensac on the Canal Du Midi, France.

In August 1998, we all moved to the Isle of Man. She went to school for the first time and made lots of friends, both at school and in the local area of our house. She took part in two school plays, won a couple of certificates for running and enjoyed the beaches, in the Summer and "Santa" trains, at Christmas. So she was very sad to leave her beloved Isle of Man, at Easter 2001.
