Snow on the 26th

Our bedroom had been painted,
the furniture delivered (bed, wardrobe and cupboards) and we had the heating
on. Although it was set at the minimum level to allow the plaster and
floor to dry slowly, it still felt very warm compared to the extremes of
the caravan heating. So we made the decision to sleep overnight in
our cottage for the first time on Saturday 25th January. There wasn't
any forecast of snow in our area for the 26th January, so we were greatly
surprised to wake up to snow. The snow was about 2 inches deep and started
to melt later that day.
