1st Mum made some home made Cornish pasties. They were very nice, better than the supermarket versions.
6th Took Sorcha to the Orthodontist at Tuam. She was hoping it would come off, however it appears there is another 6 months to go. Caught the 4th mouse today. Placed him in the Aquarium.
6th Creggs has a new fish and chip shop.
13th Sorcha, Lydia and Lyle gave a music workshop for infants, 1st-3rd years and 4th-6th years, at Lisiniskey National School, as part of their Enterprise project. They used a variety of instruments: keyboard, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, electric guitar, saxaphone, mandalin, shakers and bongos. They showed them how to play easy chords, sing songs with the instruments and finished with a quiz on what they had learnt. They got an excellent reference from the headmaster, plus a substantial payment.
12th Caught the 6th mouse at my mother's cottage. Released it about 2 miles away.
13th Found a big dead rat on our front door step. The cats have been busy during the night.
14th Caught the 6th mouse at my mother's cottage. Released it about 2 miles away.
20th Heavy rain all day (2.5 inches). The worst flooding I have ever seen. Pictures of it on the lefdt hand side.
22nd Caught the 7th mouse at my Mother's cottage with a live trap. Released him about 2 miles away.
Sorcha, Lydia and Lyle gave another music workshop for 2nd years at the . The following week they were featured in two local papers: Roscommon Herald and the Roscommon . Reviews of their work is shown on the left hand side.
24th All Public Employees (including Melly and I) went on strike due to the impending pay cuts. Rained all day including my two hour picket session.
25th Got hay for the animals.
