My mother's birthday was on Friday, 28th April.  Imelda was going to work and Sorcha was going to school, so my mother arrived at our cottage around 8.30 am, in order to open her cards and presents.  She got some plants, tee shirts, etc.  In the evening we took her to our favourite Chinese restaurant.  We left the restaurant after a couple of hours totally bloated.
