Imelda's Birthday

Imelda's bithday took place one Sunday in August.  She was given her cards and presents when we had our morning coffee.  She received mostly vouchers, plus a couple of books.  Annie (her mother) and Eileen (cousin) came for a birthday tea, where Imelda blew out a solitary candle on her birthday cake.  I believe she wished for a bigger boat for me - using her words "Yeh right!".
