Laura's Wedding
Imelda, Sorcha, Pearl & I
took a flight from Knock, Ireland to Stansted, UK, on the 27th October to
attend Laura's (niece) wedding. We arrived about 7.00pm, picked up
a hire car and made our way to a Travel Lodge in Peterborough. As it
was getting late when we arrived in Peterborough, we stopped off at a nearby
Harvester's Restaurant and was joined a little later by Colin (brother), Michael
and Holly.
The next day we set off early and arrived at Robin's (brother) house, in order to drop
off Sorcha - who was one of the bridesmaids. We took the opportunity
to go shopping and afterwards we went to Beverley's (sister) house to get
changed. We arrived at the church, slightly after 2.30pm and while the
others entered the church I waited outside to get some pictures of the bridesmaids and Laura arriving.
It was a cold, but dry day and the bridesmaids
in their sleeveless dresses were freezing. Laura duly arrived in her
black and red Rolls Royce. She looked stunning in her full length bridal
gown. A few snatched pictures were taken and I had to join the others
in the church. A short time later the music started as Robin led his
daughter down the aisle to her future husband Nick.
