After
Easter (mid April), throughout May and in the first two weeks of June
we had brilliant weather. During this time It varied between
18-27c most days. May had the hottest temperatures since records
began and over a period of eight weeks we woke up to blue, clear skies
and had very little rain. (Note:- I am writing this in the last week of
August, which has already achieved the wettest August on record and
where it has rained heavily, most of each day, every day for over eight
weeks!).
Above
are some pictures, showing blue skies, the temperature gauge in the
Tropical Greenhouse, horses lying down and it was only 11.00 am and my
new quad bike - not that it has anything to do with the weather!
