Greece
2 - Part
3
After anchoring we rowed ashore to the taverna,
that Derek and I had visited two weeks earlier. After a
bar-b-que meal, a slight breeze had sprung up and a little chop had
develop, so I had to make two trips to the boat. First,
Sorcha and Caitlin and then Imelda. Again, the late evenings
were taken up with watching DVDs.
The next morning while the girls slept - they
rarely got up before midday, Imelda and I rowed ashore and walked over
the hill to Vathi. We had a great chat, at a bar, with an Englishman who
had lived on the Island for over 15 years. The afternoon was taken up with swimming and reading.
In the evening we visited a taverna next to the one we had visited the previous night. We left the next morning for Ormos Sivota on Lefkada, via
the
northern end of Meganisi.
