Francine's Wedding

The food was wonderful and afterwards we retired to the bar, while the second sitting took their seats. When they had finished we return to the reception room where a band had started to play. During the next few hours, good craic was had by everyone as drinking, dancing and talking to family and friends took place.

Around 1.00 am, a traditional Irish band took over from the original band. We left shortly after that, although Sorcha stayed with Jacinta & Nicky for a further hour. The next morning we all got up about 10.00 am and arrived home at noon.

Finally, a joke that I heard on the night. "What is the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish wake ?" - There's one less drunk at a wake!
