During the May Bank
holiday, Melly and I decided to go to Dublin Zoo for
the day. It was a beautiful, sunny day (this May was the
hottest May since records began, for Ireland). We arrived at 11.00 am and spent
the next three hours soaking up the scenic gardens
and animals.At
one stage we took the safari
train and travelled around the reproduced plains of Africa.
We eventually had a sandwhich
and a drink and finished going around the pet farm.We left at 3.00pm as Melly was still recovering from a bad virus and the hot weather was making her tired.
On
the way home we stopped at the Liffey
Valley and had a pizza
from the Pizza
Hut and
then had a quick shop.
