Disneyland, Paris Holiday
Initially
the girls and I went on "Space Mountain" as Melly dislikes roller
coasters. Afterwards the girls went their separate way from us,
preferring to go on other fast rides. My favourite was the
"Pirates of the Carribean" and Melly particularly liked it's a "Small
World". We managed to get on most rides without waiting in
long queues. However, it seemed impossible to get on the Steam
Railway, as it didn't operate a fast track system, although we did get
on on our third day at the Magic kingdom. We left the resort at 11.00pm and ate in our room, while watching the "Mummy" dubbed in French.
On Sunday we arranged to go to Paris, via train. We arrived at 1.00pm, a little later than planned and spent about forty minutes queuing. As we had arranged to meet our friend Dica we only went to the second stage, although we still got spectacular views. We posed for photographs and had a snack before returning to the ground, where we met up with Dica. We walked over to the river boats and cruised up and down the seine observing the scenery and catching up with news.
