Colin & Michael's Visit - Continued

In the afternoon we had a break by going over to the lake.  The mink had only been shot a few days previous and left in a field - to assist in the food chain, but its body had been left untouched by other animals.  Even in death it got the respect of other animals! We took the small boat with its electric engine and motored over to the large Island (Dog Island).  Jasmine joined us by swimming over.

I showed Michael and Colin the latest developments of the Island.  Approximately a 100 shrubs and trees had been planted, a beach hut was mostly completed and the Island beach was beginning to take shape.  The boys stayed until the next morning - see Sorcha's birthday and left with my mother to England, in the afternoon.
