Meeting the Relatives at Bristol - 2

After shopping, we made our way to the Bristol Suspension Bridge, but as it was raining slightly I was the only one to get out and take some photos.  We then headed towards Bristol Zoo.  It was raining heavily, so we were pleased to find that most of it was undercover.  At 2.00 pm Beverley (sister) and Ffion joined us at the zoo and we proceeded to observe the animals together.  We were particularly impressed with the penguin and sea lion enclosure.  We left at 5.00pm.

At 6.00 pm Colin, Chris, Michael and Holly joined us at the Travelodge and then we all made our way to the Harvester Restaurant.   A short time later our relatives joined us.  My cousins Rebecca and John, followed by my Aunt Joan and our cousin Hazel.   After a quick drink and a look at some old photographs we sat down at our reserved tables and spent the next few hours socialising, eating and drinking.  Ffion went around the tables taking photographs and the deserts were particularly memorable.

All good things come to an end and we said our goodbyes to our Bristol relatives and to Colin's family who were staying elsewhere and continuing a holiday in the South West the following day.  Although Beverley and Ffion were staying at our hotel, they were leaving early so we said goodbye to them as well.
