Athleague
The River Suck flows past Castlecoote
and after a couple of miles downstream goes through the village of Athleague.
Athleague is a pretty village with a weir and an old water wheel.
It has the usual pubs, shops and post office.
It also has an abatoir which gives off a revolting smell when the factory
is in production. Luckily we are too far away to smell it, but god help
the locals!
